Overview

Blue Crane, a development and real estate company headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Project Manager.  The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to present, lead and oversee a variety of project types.  Blue Crane oversees a variety of project types and this will provide a challenging and rewarding growth opportunity for any individual.
 
You’ll be overseeing and tracking several types of projects simultaneously from idea to end product.  This will involve creating project budgets for approval, overseeing projects and keeping project tracking software current.

Responsibilities

- Oversee various projects in Blue Crane’s commercial, multifamily and residential portfolio
- Present pricing, scope of work and timelines for project approvals
- Oversee various types of projects including data gathering, residential renovations, residential turnovers, commercial renovations, commercial turnovers and demo projects
- Ensure contractors and sub contractors have the appropriate permits and Insurances prior to starting projects
- Analyzes complex problems, interprets operational needs, and develops corrective actions
- Work with the Blue Crane accounting, facilities and property management team to gather needed information for projects, timelines and project cost
- Track multiple projects that are occurring simultaneously through smartsheet or other project tracking software
- Have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all projects
- Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of the projects
- Assist with construction warranties and tracking of warranty projects on new construction
- Assist facilities team in projects outside their standard maintenance scope
- Performs additional duties as requested by the Senior Manager

- 5 years project management experience
- 3 years in commercial and/or residential construction experience
- Skilled in time and project management
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Efficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
